The Registration and Regulation Department

The Registration and Regulation Department of the NCC was established to carry out regulatory functions of the NCC. As such, the core functions of the Registration and Regulation Department involve registration and affiliation of construction companies and firms; monitoring of construction activities; enforcement of standards; and, promotion of the local construction industry.

The NCC established a Registration and affiliation Scheme for contractors and consultants in December 2005. The Registration Scheme is intended to be the basis for regulating the industry by ensuring that only legitimate persons undertake work in Zambia.
